Since I’d be giving up my apartment, I needed somewhere to put my stuff. SO. MUCH. STUFF.
Because of a nice little fucking over by a “friend,” I wouldn’t have been able to keep my apartment anyway, even if I didn’t want to go travel, so I was gonna be homeless, whether I wanted to be or not. Luckily, unlike most people, I was able to prepare for it.
Anyway, I found a storage unit to put my stuff in, sold/gave away my furniture, and started figuring out what would be coming with me. What a cluster that was. Shout out again to the Trucker, whose experience helped me make some of those decisions. (Just for the record, it’s been over two years and I still haven’t completely made definitive decisions about what I need.)
And when you have stuff, you need to decide where to put it. Front, middle, back. Remove the seats? Just fold them down? Can I use extra storage if I take the middle seats out? (Yes. Yes, I can.) Of course, because once something is out of my sight, I tend to forget about it, that storage is a bad idea. It’s also hard to get to because I have to move stuff to get to it. So I would have been better off to just fold down the middle row seats instead of going to all the trouble of taking them out. Live and learn, I guess.
